Blog on JP Patch

If you'd like to become a Patch Blogger, here's how to get started.

As editor of Jamaica Plain Patch (and as a resident, too), I'm excited about the new blogging tools you're seeing on our site today.

"Local Voices" is a new section of JP Patch that contains two types of items:

  1. Patch Bloggers: Blogs written here on Patch with our easy-to-use blog platform
  2. Local Bloggers: A curated feed of blogs and posts about JP or of interest to JP residents.

The tools just became available this morning. If you'd like to become a Patch Blogger, here's how to get started. Or just email me.

If you have an existing blog, like my neighbor and JP Moms Council member Casey Carey-Brown's "One Mama, One Mommy, and a Bird," let me know about it and I'll add your feed here. It's my hope that if you're a writer trying to reach JP, this site offers a sizable and growing concentration here of people who live in and care about the neighborhood.

Blogs can be about any subject, though posts that are specifically about JP will be of more interest to folks coming to a site like JP Patch.
