Commencement took place on Monday afternoon, June 11 at the Bank of America Pavillion. At 5 p.m., a long line of purple clad graduates filed into the pavilion and took their seats in a reserved front section. An invited speaker welcoming all to the impressive assembly was Boston Mayor Tom Menino. Music is always an important part of a Boston Latin graduation. The school chorus and concert band performed 'Ad Scholam Matrem' and 'Hymm to the Fallen'. The valedictory address was presented by Ms. Anumita Das. Also addressing the graduates was class president Vanya Zvonar and the headmaster, Ms. Lynn Mooney-Teta. Diplomas were presented to 333 graduates.
