State of Our Neighborhood Forum is Thursday

2nd Annual State of Our Neighborhood forum: FEB 9th, 6-9pm at English High School (144 McBride St.)

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Find out what's happening in Jamaica Plainfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

Featuring dynamic Q&A with our elected reps who live in JP:

  • Felix Arroyo, City Councilor At-Large
  • Matt O'Malley, City Councilor
  • Liz Malia, State Representative
  • Jeffrey Sanchez, Sate Representative
  • Sonia Chang-Diaz, State Senator

Followed by break-out groups to talk with each other on Housing, Jobs, Urban Agriculture, Green Blocks and Green Energy, Youth, Local Business, Community Resilience, Move Your Money and Other Action for Change, MBTA service cuts and Transportation. You can also propose your own topic.

Last year this event was a big success with over 250 people attending from across JP, and even Roslindale and Roxbury.

This is a good chance to help grow our local Transition effort -- please spread the word, consider volunteering, and come out on Feb 9th!
