Seed Swap on Tuesday!

Andree of the JP Green House will help host the Seed Swap potluck next Tuesday, March 6th at 23 Egleston St.

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Andree of the JP Green House will help host the Seed Swap potluck next Tuesday, March 6th at 6:30pm at 23 Egleston St. (That's my house.)

As we move into Spring, and prepare our gardens, it is a good time to share seeds and learn how to start seedlings. You do not have to bring seeds, but that makes it more fun; we will have plastic bags to facilitate sharing.

Seed Swaps are a time honored tradition, and help us learn about our food and take control of our food supply. If you've been saving seeds, have heirlooms to share, or just want to learn more, please do come out.

For a $5 donation, Andree will provide plastic trays and soil for seed starts, so if you want to go home with some seedlings please RSVP and so she knows approximately how many to get.

Bring your own plate, cup, fork, if you can. There is a sink for washing dishes.

[Editor's note: The location of this event changed since the initial posting.]

Invite your friends — and forward widely to folks in JP.

See you on March 6th,

Orion

P.S. JP NET will begin screening Transition-themed films on the last Thursday of every month. Join us on Thursday, March 29 for "Economics of Happiness" at the Nate Smith House.
