Burrito Eatery Looks to Set Up Shop in Jamaica Plain

Mexican restaurant is eyeing a move to Armory Street.

Jamaica Plain residents may soon get an opportunity to experience authentic take-out style burritos.

Mexican restaurant, Chilicates, is seeking a food license that would allow them to move into a vacant spot on 224 Armory Street, according to Eater Boston. The restaurant would specialize in serving burritos.

According to an official city document, Chilicates is looking to feature a 10-seat counter for those who choose to dine inside the eatery. The new shop would stand service for both walk-up and take-out customers. Alcohol will not be served, but approval is being sought for a beverage cooler.
