A driver lost control of their car, crashing into a Jamaica Plain home Thursday afternoon. The car smashed into a house on Mayer Street. As a result of the accident, the house sustained a great deal of damage to the front porch area. Concrete blocks were sent flying across the lawn. Officials are working to clear the scene.
