The Cat’s Meow by Steven Peros
A terrific drama/mystery base on the true story of a 1924 Hollywood murder aboard William Randolph Hearst’s yacht. The Cat’s Meow offers a fascinating cross section of Jazz Era characters including Charlie Chaplin, movie star Marion Davies, and movie mogul Thomas Ince.
The show features many Jamaica Plain residents including Liz Laneri as Margaret, Frances Price as Elinor, Kosta Demos as George, Rob Guptill as Willicombe, Carol Pyper at a maid, Karen Wepsic as a maid, and Conor Kenney as the steward.
Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. June 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 2015.
