
Teachers in Boston will voice their opinions on Wednesday regarding a plan to make students spend more time in class.
My Fox Boston reported that the Boston Teachers Union is voting on a proposal for longer school days at more than 50 elementary and middle schools.
Days would see a daily 40-minute increase in instruction time. The program, which would cost over $12 million per year, would be phased-in over the next three years.
