Community Servings Gets $50K Grant

Community Servings, an organization which provides nutritional education for people living with critical and chronic diseases, will use the money to launch the Family Nutrition Initiative, according to the Boston Business Journal.
The initiative will include nutrition workshops to educate children and families who have just transitioned to public housing, according to BBJ.

Community Servings, which has headquarters at 18 Marbury Terrace, was founded in July 2009. The organization also hosts a farmer’s market next to Stony Brook MBTA station in summer and fall.
