Control the #WickedCoolTree Lights at City Hall

Pick a color, tweet it along with #WickedCoolTree and watch the tree light up!

Head over to the third floor entrance of Boston’s City Hall to see the #WickedCoolTree holiday tree.

Mayor Walsh, the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics (MONUM), and the City’s Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) have launched it in the public space on Wednesday.

A recent press release indicated that the holiday tree is outfitted with 720 programmable LED lights. When a user tweets a color or a series of colors using the hashtag #WickedCoolTree, all 720 lights will change reflecting the color choice.
