The coach added that Louis-Jean was an invaluable defensive presence playing the top of the press, which helped contain West Roxbury.

Also proving valuable to English was the return of captain Tiana McQueen, who gave the Blue and Blue a scoring presence in the paint. The senior center netted 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

“It was good to see her back,” said Grace. “She played well.”

The Blue and Blue will look to continue on the winning track when they host New Mission Friday at 5 p.m.
