A resolute effort was not enough for the girls basketball team Monday as giveaways derailed the Blue and Blue in a 61-43 loss to Boston City (South) League-foe Burke.

With the defeat, the Blue and Blue slip to 6-8 on the season.

“She had a decent game,” Grace said about Mair. “She was a little off shooting-wise, but that was because of [Burke’s] defense.”
