Unable to muster any offense, the football team lost 33-0 to Boston City (North) League-foe South Boston Friday night.
“They are a very good team,” said Blue and Blue head coach Chris Boswell. “They have a lot of good players. You have to give them respect. We fought hard, but they were just the better team.”
The contest was not without a silver lining as Boswell was able to rotate in the majority of his players, allowing them a chance to compete and learn.
“We played a bunch of kids. I believe 25," he said. “I want the kids to play so we can build depth and gain experience. That’s what they’re here for.”
The loss drops the Blue and Blue to 1-3 on the season. They will look to rebound as they host Madison Park Friday at 6 p.m.
