Basic Tree Identification at the Arboretum

The Arnold Arboretum is conducting a two-session class starting this Saturday titled "Introduction to Winter Tree Identification." Arborist Kyle Stephens will provide the basic information necessary to identify deciduous trees during their dormant season. Class begins indoors with a discussion of basic techniques and will be continued outside on the Arboretum grounds to examine a variety of trees. The second session will be held December 11 from 9 a.m. to 12?30 p.m. The class will also be offered on March 5, 2011. Register online or by phone.
