The Japan Society, located at the Showa Boston Institute, will be hosting a book talk by Michael Dana Kennedy, a Boston native with a lifelong interest in history. He will discuss his debut novel The Flowers of Edo, a meticulously researched story about the human and cultural price of the bombings of Japan told in a tale of espionage and romance. The talk is free and open to the public. Preregistration is requested. .
