Beginning in March, Faulkner Hospital, in collaboration with Men With Heart, will begin offering a support group series titled Couples Coping with Breast Cancer. What worries you?
The informational group will meet on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Faulkner Hospital beginning at 5:30 pm in Huvos Auditorium. In this informational session led by a breast cancer survivor and her husband, concerns you have about coping through diagnosis and treatment will be discussed.
“If you have breast cancer and you and your partner have questions about how to live your life after hearing the word cancer, this is the perfect opportunity for you to gain understanding and shared views from other couples in similar situations,” says Betsy Tyson-Smith, MA, LMHC, CCMHC, who will be leading the group.
