City Council Hearing on Bus Idling

City Councilors Felix Arroyo, who lives in JP, and Salvatore LaMattina, will have a hearing about idling commercial and tour buses.

Hearing participants will, according to an email from Arroyo's office, "discuss with city officials what laws and regulations currently exist for bus idling at the municipal and state levels, further actions that could be taken to eliminate unnecessary bus idling, and which agencies have jurisdiction over bus idling."

Public comment is welcomed at the hearing, which will be in the City Council Chambers on the fifth floor of City Hall.
