Community Meeting About Demolition and Future of Casey Overpass

The following is from a flyer distributed by neighbors who are organizing the meeting:

"URGENT: Come show your support!Community meeting w/ MassDOT re: Casey OverpassAs you may know, the Casey Overpass is slated for demolition by MassDOT (Dept. of Transportation), The possibilities for what may be built in the Casey's place are apparently wide open: a new elevated road or surface roads, elevated greenway or parkland.  One thing is very certain -- the project will have a huge impact in and around our neighborhood. The Stonybrook Neighborhood Assoc. wants to be sure that we are involved in the process, that our neighborhood's concerns are addressed, and that this potentially disruptive project ultimately brings new benefits to the area.

25,000 to 30,000 cars cross the Casey Overpass everyday
