Alongside an array of beautiful handmade crafts, Fire Opal hosts both seasonal and timeless jewelry from Elise Moran of EAM jewelry for a Trunk Show where Moran will be present.
A 1990 graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, and one of Fire Opal’s most beloved artists, Moran translates the complex and balanced forms she sees in nature into small metal sculptures to be worn and to adorn. It is one of her favorite challenges to see a beautiful flower or branch, for example, and figure out how to recreate it in silver and gold. The results are whimsical, delicate pieces that imbue a classic elegance and flatter those who wear them. Moran has a studio at the Button Factory in Portsmouth, NH.
EAM jewelry shines year round, but it is in the late spring and early summer that her jewelry's brightness and poignancy is one with the New England surroundings.
