The second annual JP Music Festival will be held at Pinebank Field on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 from 12-7 PM.
The free festival will have two stages, with continuous music from more than 24 artists and bands. As with its first festival in 2011, the festival features musicians, bands, or orchestra members who either live or work in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood.
The festival’s music is as diverse as Jamaica Plain is itself, with this year’s genres including funk, jazz, Mexican, classical, hip-hop, rock, Americana, folk, dance, punk, pop, and metal.
