First Thursday Art Walk, JP Cash Mob Returns to Jamaica Plain This Week
The event will run Thursday, May 1 and welcome back the JP Cash Mob. Get the full Art Walk map here.
First Thursdays returns to Jamaica Plain this week as part of a monthly program by JP Centre/South Main Streets to highlight store fronts and businesses in the area and allow residents and patrons to "embrace the artistic heritage of the community."
The program will run from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 1.
The First Thursday seasonable program runs from April to October and was relaunched last month as a cohesive "Art Walk," as part of which the community is encouraged to visit all participating locations to see what's happening at storefronts in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood, specifically the Centre and South commercial district. Boston Mayor Martin Walsh was on hand at last month's relaunch of the program.
