First Thursday Art Walk Returns to Jamaica Plain This Week
More than 40 local businesses will take part in this week's event.
JP Centre/South Main Street's "First Thursday" program returns to Jamaica Plain this week, with the monthly Art Walk taking place on Thursday, June 5.
Thursday's event will comprise 42 participating businesses, as well as the Loring-Greenough Farmers Market, a Cash Mob and Kitchenwitch, as well as dancers, musicians, crafters, artists and food.
The First Thursday seasonable program runs from April to October and was relaunched this spring as a cohesive "Art Walk," as part of which the community is encouraged to visit all participating locations to see what's happening at storefronts in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood, specifically the Centre and South commercial district.
