Food Network to Highlight JP Restaurant 'Aurum'

A new Food Network television series about aspiring new restauranteurs searching for the ideal space will feature Jamaica Plain eatery Aurum next Wednesday, Feb. 12, according to Boston.com.

Aurum opened in the Hyde Square section of Jamaica Plain in January and will be the focal point in the next episode of "Buy This Restaurant" on Feb. 12 at 9 p.m., according the report. 

The restaurant was developed by Jamaica Plain residents Andrea Belanger and Matthew Virzi, and offers a variety of unique pies, fresh juices and salads, homemade soups, vegetarian meals and sides.
