Forums Set for T Rate Hikes, Service Cuts

One of the public meetings will be in JP at the Hennigan School on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Angry about the proposed MBTA service cuts and rate hikes?

Well, you can speak your mind to MBTA officials soon.

The MBTA has scheduled a public forum for Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 6-8 p.m. at the to hear input on the two proposed scenarios that would make dramtic rate hikes and service cuts.

If you can't make that public hearing, other forums are scheduled for many places in and around Boston. They include the following dates:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Newton City Hall
  • Thursday, Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. at Roxbury Community College
  • Monday, Jan. 23 at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. (two sessions), State Transportation Building
