MUSIC + SKETCH + STAND UP = DOPENESS
Get ready for a FUNtastic night of sketch and stand up comedy along with the musical stylings of one of Boston’s up and coming artists. COMEDY CHOP SUEY — masterfully orchestrated by Sam Jay and Tawanda Gona – promises to be a night of laughs, screwball shenanigans, and musical dopeness.
The COMEDY CHOP SUEY stand up showcase will feature three rising comedy stars in the New England / New York City area. Headliner Emma Willmann, whose credits include The New York Comedy Festival and The Women in Comedy Festival, is a life-long entertainment junkie that enjoys hip-hop music, video girls (Puerto Rican, specifically), and slanging jokes throughout NYC and Boston. Peter Martin of Medfield, MA and Gary Alexis of Stamford, CT are also featured.
Also making his way to the stage, Boston native, Latrell James of 5 Star Generals. Latrell James is a versatile artist that writes, produces, and performs his own original music. Latrell will bless the mic and the Late Night Laughs crowd with a live rendition of his newest music and fan favorites. Latrell James is an all-out entertainer. His showmanship is complemented by a melodic cadence that masterfully blends with hypnotic beats — met with a staggering stage presence — a Latrell Jamesperformance is not to be missed.
