Hour-by-Hour Forecast: Scattered Thunderstorms Expected Tuesday

Scattered Thunderstorms are expected to move through the Boston area on Tuesday. A few storms could be severe in nature.

Forecasters say storms will crop up during the morning commute before dying down come midmorning. Storms are expected to return around lunchtime.

Temperatures will reach a high of 89 degrees. High humidity will make for a soupy and oppressive conditions.

The chance for rain is set at 60 percent. Winds will blow at 15 mph out of the southwest.
