How Did Jamaica Plain Vote in the Green-Rainbow Primary?
Dr. Jill Stein won the most votes among the handful of Green-Rainbow ballots that were cast in JP precincts last Tuesday.

Jamaica Plain residents cast 15 votes in last Tuesday's Green-Rainbow Party presidential primary. Almost all of them were for Dr. Jill Stein, a former candidate for governor.
Independent voters were allowed to vote Green-Rainbow, so the votes aren't all necessarily registered members of the Green-Rainbow Party.
No state-wide figures for the Green-Rainbow party were easily available. The Green-Rainbow party itself hasn't been able to get state-wide numbers, according to party member John Andrews. He said there has been a lack of cooperation from the state's Election Division and a "blackout" on Green-Rainbow coverage by the Globe.

"Eight days after the Massachusetts primary, we still don't know what happened. This not only damages our candidates and our party, it makes election fraud easier," Andrews wrote in an email to Patch.
He said the reports they have been able to gather suggest Stein won about 80 percent of the vote and will take 9 of the 11 delegates at stake. Stein has won primaries in eight other states, according to Andrews.
