Giancarlo Zambrano was charged with larceny by scheme for allegedly taking $7,000 from the woman on the premise that he would perform vinyl siding work on her Child Street property. Zambrano reportedly never did the work.
He was placed on pre-trial probation in 2015 on the condition that he pay the woman back in full, with one-half of the total due by April 28.
A judge originally issued a warrant for Zambrano's arrest after he failed to appear in court Thursday morning.
He must pay back the remaining $3,000 by Oct. 28 or his case will remain on track for trial.
