Jamaica Plain Fire Displaces 9

JAMAICA PLAIN, BOSTON — A fire at a building on Creighton Street in Jamaica Plain has displaced at least nine people and the damage is estimated to be around $700,000, according to the Boston Fire Department.
Fire officials responded to the structure around 5 p.m. for a two-alarm fire that eventually reached three alarms. The heavy fire in the six-unit house is now out.
One person was treated by EMS after tripping and falling. No other injuries were reported.

The Red Cross is responding to assist those in need.
No immediate cause of the fire was available.
