Jamaica Plain resident re-elected to a top post at state medical society
Dr. David A. Rosman is re-elected Speaker of the House of Delegates of Massachusetts Medical Society

Waltham, Mass. – May 5 - Jamaica Plain resident David A. Rosman, M.D., M.B.A., has been re-elected Speaker of the House of Delegates of the Massachusetts Medical Society at the organization’s annual meeting May 5 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. The House of Delegates is the legislative and policy-making body of the Society, whose membership consists of more than 25,000 physicians, residents, and medical students throughout the Commonwealth.
Dr. Rosman is a radiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and associate director of business development for Mass General Imaging. He is also an instructor in radiology at Harvard Medical School.
Board-certified in radiology, he returned to MGH after two years of service on the Human Resources for Health grant in which he wrote the curriculum for and started the first ever radiology residency in Rwanda.

A member of the Medical Society since 1998, Dr. Rosman has served the organization in a number of capacities. He was first elected Speaker of the House for 2015-2016, following three consecutive terms as Vice Speaker. He is currently a member of the Society’s American Medical Association (AMA) delegation and has served as a member of the Board of Trustees, Vice Chair of the Medical Student Section, a member of its Resident and Fellow Section, and a member of the committees on Finance and Ethics and Grievances.
Active with other medical organizations, Dr. Rosman has served on the Board of Trustees of the AMA and as a Delegate to the AMA from the American College of Radiology (ACR). He also served as the Speaker of the Resident and Fellows Section of the AMA as well as the Speaker of the AMA’s Young Physicians’ Section. He is currently Chair of the ACR's Radiology Integrated Care Network. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Massachusetts Radiological Society.

Dr. Rosman earned his B.A. cum laude in economics and philosophy from Dartmouth College, his M.B.A. in health care, business and public policy from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and his M.D. from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
