JP Artists To Unveil Murals In Latin Quarter Mosaics Project
Latin Quarter Mosaics Project features the work of Jamaica Plain artists Richard Youngstrom, Fiona O'Connor, and Andrea Tamkin.

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA — A series of semi-permanent mosaic murals will be installed on the public plaza of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain’s Hyde Square soon.
Latin Quarter Mosaics Project, led by Jamaica Plain artists Richard Youngstrom, Fiona O’Connor, and Andrea Tamkin, was in collaboration with Hyde Square Task Force, and included a series of mosaic workshops with community neighbors and youth thanks to the The New England Foundation for the Arts’ Creative City program.
The official unveiling celebration will take place Wed., Oct. 11, at 6 p.m., on the church plaza, located at 361 Centre Street.
