JP Deaths: Ellen Joy (Crabbe) Small, 78

Ellen Joy (Crabbe) Small, 78, was an active member of St. John's Episcopal Church and was engaged in JP civic life for more than 40 years, according to her obituary in the Boston Globe.

Ellen found much joy in the diversity of the people, languages and cultures, along with the preserved natural beauty of Jamaica Plain.

A service for her will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. Visitation is from 3-4 p.m. at Mann and Rodgers Funeral Home.
