“That was a good feeling,” Post 76 skipper Julio Bello said about ending the skid. “Hopefully this will get us back on track.”
With the victory, Jamaica Plain improves to 4-6.
Malcolm Nachmanoff pitched a complete game while striking out seven batters. Bello noted Nachmanoff going the distance was important as the “rest of our guys’ arms were tired.”
On the offensive side, Carlos Perez smashed a three-run triple in the fifth inning that ignited a stretch of scoring for Jamaica Plain.
