MSPCA Unveils Live Video Stream for Adoptable Pets

Animals at the Jamaica Plain adoption center can now be viewed 24/7.

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA - MSPCA-Angell has released its new adoptable animal live stream to kick off National Pet Month in May.

The Pet Video Stream allows adopters to look at their prospective pets 24/7 and is powered by home security cameras from Logitech.

Alyssa Krieger, the manager of the Jamaica Plain adoption center, said in a release that the cameras not only benefit potential adopters but also help the center's staff keep tabs on the animals.

"It’s extremely helpful for our team to monitor what the cats in our colony room are doing—whether they’re getting along or whether we need to change up their housing—just by viewing the live stream," Krieger said in the release. "It’s an effective tool that ensures the animals in our care are as comfortable as possible before we find homes for them."

MSPCA-Angell in Jamaica Plain currently has 68 animals available for adoption.
