Hundreds of runners ran a five-mile course through Franklin Park, ending at Doyle's for much-deserved refreshments.
Hundreds of runners competed in Doyle's Emerald Necklace Road Race on Sunday. It was the 15th running of the well-known Jamaica Plain event, which raised money for the Sister Jeanne's Kids Fund and the Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums. The race went through Franklin Park and ended at Doyle's for well-deserved pints.
