PHOTOS: A Rainy First Day of School in JP
Most Boston Public Schools opened Thursday, including the Manning School in JP. A slate of dignitaries were on hand to greet the students.
Thursday was the first day of school for most Boston Public schools, including the , nestled in the Moss Hill neighborhood of Jamaica Plain.
JP photographer Courtney Sacco was there to capture the rainy first day, which included visits from Gov. Deval Patrick and Mayor Thomas Menino.
