Police: Man Shot in Jamaica Plain Drives Self to Hospital

The shooting took place around 1 a.m. on Thursday in the area at Bragdon and Ernst Streets.

A man who was shot and injured Thursday morning in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood drove himself to the hospital for treatment, police say.

The shooting took place around 1 a.m. in the area at Bragdon and Ernst Streets.

According to police, the victim struck two safety poles while on his way to Boston Medical Center.

The victim, said to be in his 20s, underwent treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Police have yet to identify a suspect.
