Police: Man Threatens Train Passengers on Boston Amtrak

An Amtrak train passenger reportedly made threats to harm other passengers on-board on Thursday around 5 p.m.
The New York State Police reported that the passenger, who was identified as 32-year-old William D. Wood, of Winthrop, Mass. was removed following a brief struggle.

The Amtrak train was traveling from Boston to Albany, N.Y. and was subsequently delayed for roughly 45 minutes while the investigation was conducted.
No Amtrak passengers or employees were injured during the incident.

Wood was charged with menacing in the second degree and making a terroristic threat. He was arraigned and remanded to the Columbia County Jail.
