President at Pine Manor College Steps Down

Full-time enrollment at the college has dropped below 400 students.

The president of Pine Manor College has stepped down, according to the Boston Business Journal. It’s not exactly known what influenced the decision.

After joining the school in 2013, E. Joseph Lee is moving on from the Chestnut Hill school.

The BBJ says Ellen Hurwitz, the president who served ahead of Lee, also suddenly stepped down.

Pine Manor is a very small school, enrolling less than 400 full-time students. The campus recently turned co-ed in an effort to drive enrollment as it was on the decline.
