Restaurant Spotlight: Jamaica Plain's Chilicates

Chilicates, an authentic taqueria, recently opened it’s doors in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood.

The eatery is located on Armory Street. It only features enough seating for about 10 people, but the food is well worth it. According to Yelp.com, the food is fresh, authentic and is of the highest quality.

Available on the menu are items such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos and tortas. Even breakfast items are offered. Each selection is priced very well. Almost everything will cost under $8.

The restaurant gets its name after a chile pepper that originates in Mexico.

Chilicates is opened each day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
