Run the Pond - She Can Run the World
Fun run for all ages to benefit Komera, a Boston based charity building girls futures through education, community and sports in Rwanda.
On June 5th, 2016 Komera shares their passion for girls education in Rwanda with Boston by hosting an charity adult race and a children’s fun run around JP Pond. Komera's Founder, Margaret Butler siad "this year, the Komera Global Run will be bigger and better with events in Jamaica Plain, Brooklyn, San Francisco and Rwanda. Thousands of people will be running to support young women in Rwanda” said Butler. Butler will run in JP and in Rwanda with the Komera Scholars and hundreds of local primary school runners.
