Runner Saved By Stranger's Quick CPR At Franklin Park Turkey Trot
The quick thinking and application of CPR to one runner has many extra grateful this week.

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA — On Thanksgiving Day at least a few folks at the Franklin Park 5K are grateful for a bystander's quick actions and Boston EMS who came to the rescue after a runner fell - later diagnosed with cardiac arrest.
The bystander jumped into action and started performing CPR. By the time Boston EMS got him in the ambulance to the hospital he was awake and talking.
"CPR Saves Lives!" tweeted Boston EMS.

Boston EMS recommends Citizen CPR.
"Citizen CPR makes all the difference. Our EMT Telecommunicators will walk you through it on the phone even if you've never taken a class," the wrote on their Facebook site.
