Scratch Computer Programming at Curtis Hall

Curtis Hall is offering a class for kids to learn computer programming using Scratch.

Starting on Wednesday, February 11, from 4:50 - 5:50 PM, Scratch programming will be held in the computer lab at Curtis Hall on the 4th Floor.

This class is for ages 8-16, with some prior knowledge of the program. The instructor will go over the basics and work with the kids to expand their programming skills.

Cost is $10 for 6 weeks and all participants must be members of Curtis Hall. For Boston resident children, an individual membership is $5 for the year. For Boston resident families the cost is $50 a year.

To register call Curtis Hall at 617-635-5193 and ask for Greg in the computer lab or come in person to sign your child up.  Space is limited, but there are seats still available.

Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.
