Chance for Afternoon Storms in Jamaica Plain Area

The latest weather forecast from the National Weather Service indicates a chance for afternoon thunderstorms in the Jamaica Plain area.

Heavy rain, wind, thunder and lighting plagued the area this morning when an initial wave of storms rolled through. Skies later turned partly cloudy during the early afternoon hours.

The chance for a thunderstorm still remains up until 8 p.m.

Temperatures will reach a high in the low 80s and dip into the 60s overnight.
