Small Plane Catches Fire at Boston's Logan Airport

Faulty brakes sparked the flames.

A small plane caught fire after a scheduled landing at Boston’s Logan International Airport Wednesday morning. Emergency crews covered the plane in foam to put out the blaze.

The single-engine plane caught fire while crews towed it across the runway after the pilot discovered a flat tire, FOX 25 reports. The plane’s brakes locked up, sparking the flames.

The plane is privately owned, according to Massport officials. No injuries occurred.
