Speak Out: Inspire, Connect, Engage with Derrick Z. Jackson

Series of public lectures designed to inform, inspire, connect and engage audiences in the protection and preservation of the environment.

“Speak Out” is a series of public lectures and presentations designed to inform, inspire, connect and engage audiences in the protection and preservation of the environment. The 2016 series features notable individuals with a broad range of experiences and perspectives and whose work has contributed to a better understanding of our changing environment. “Speak Out” is made possible through generous seed funding from the Caroline Loughlin Fund.

Events are free to the public with advance registration. Register online or call 617-522-2700.

All programs start at 6:00 pm followed by a reception with light refreshments and book signing.

Jackson, an award-winning Boston Globe columnist, is co-author of the 2015 book, Project Puffin, the inspiring story of how one seabird was successfully restored to its previous nesting island off the coast of Maine. Co-hosted by the Franklin Park Coalition.
