The baseball team received six solid innings of pitching from Nelson Barreiro, but sloppy defensive play behind him help lead to a 6-0 loss to Boston City (North) League-foe Latin Academy on April 27.
Barreiro struck out 10 batters and allowed only one earned run during his outing.

“It’s very discouraging,” Blue and Blue assistant coach Ted Hespeler said about the defensive letdown. “We had little errors. One kid overthrows the ball and we have three errors on one play. That kills us.”
