Students March on Centre Street
The march was a local version of the nationwide protests against police brutality.

Hundreds of students from the Margarita Muñiz Academy on Child Street, in a student-organized protest, marched up Centre Street on Tuesday morning.
The Jamaica Plain Gazette reported that the students held signs with such slogans as “#BlackLivesMatter” and “Our lives matter.”
The national protests were sparked by the Eric Garner and Michael Brown grand jury decisions.
