True Originals: A Walking Tour Celebrating Forest Hills' Creative Thinkers

On Saturday, September 6, at 10 AM, join historian Dee Morris as we visit grave sites of notables such as e e cummings, poet.

Forest Hills Cemetery is the final resting place of many gifted people who not only enriched their own times but also left enduring legacies. Their talents were as varied as the events in their lives. Among the notables are three pioneers: Poet ee cummings, Lithographer Louis Prang and Physician Grace Wolcott, MD.

Meet at the Visitors’ Circle behind the main gate of the Cemetery at 95 Forest Hills Avenue, Jamaica Plain. Bring water and wear comfortable shoes. This tour is not handicap accessible. The Cemetery is an easy walk from the Forest Hills stop on the Orange Line via the Tower Street short cut. For more information: Call 617.524.0128 (Cemetery Office)
