
Snapping a two-game losing streak, the baseball team used an offensive-laden second inning to defeat Boston City (North) League-foe Madison Park, 11-4, and catapulted itself back into the race for the playoffs.
“It was a great game,” said Blue and Blue assistant coach Ted Hespeler. “We are back in the hunt for the city championship again.”
With the victory, Blue and Blue improves to 3-4 in the league and 3-7 overall.

The Blue and Blue's Alvin Baez pitched a complete game while Frander Baez went 2-for-3. English exploded for eights runs in the second inning that included a Frankely Gonzales three-run home run.
